We assess grade change, soil conditions, drainage patterns, and how the space will be used above and below the wall. Height, alignment, and drainage design are all established before stone gets selected.

02. Engineering Coordination (if required)

For walls that require engineered plans under local municipal codes, we coordinate directly with licensed engineers — handling the process so you don’t have to manage it yourself.

03. Drainage Installation & Base Prep

Drainage rock, pipe, and fabric go in before a single boulder is placed. The foundation and drainage system are what determine how long the wall performs — we don’t skip this phase.

04. Stone Selection & Wall Construction

Each stone is selected to fit the one next to it. Tight fitment isn’t cosmetic — it’s structural. The wall goes up in sequence, with every piece placed to contribute to the integrity of the whole.
